The seminar will be held at the beautiful sustainable "Yarok Az" farm, nestled in the hills of the lower Galilee.
We will be listening to lectures, working with natural element in crafts and farming, learning the way of the earth and preparing our own vegetarian meals together, using our farm's produce and other fresh ingredients.
Our lecturers:

Yonit Cristal –
Traditional Crafts
Yonit describes her mission as being the link between traditional crafters, who carry the wisdom of the ages, and those aspiring to connect with the fountains of this ancient wisdom. Yonit decided to take it upon herself to learn and teach the crafts themselves not write or talk about them but pass on the actual practice itself.

Yonit will talk about her vision as a bearer of artful knowledge and she will further lead us in a workshop of traditional weaving in natural and local materials.
Dandan Bolotin – Herbal Healing
Dandan is a researcher and expedition leader to remote places on the globe
Dandan lived with Indians in Ecuador and made a research about herbal plants
Dandan will take us to the knowledge of the ancient people
Tal Bashsan –
Natural building
Tal comes from the fields of carpentry and design. From those she has moved on to study and teach the traditional art of building with natural materials. Tal builds with mud and dirt, assimilating into her work a colorful array of materials that others might consider junk, thus keeping them out of landfills and brightening up her creations.

Tal will tell us the stories of the earth – turning into mud and artfully solidifying into walls, stoves and benches.

The stories will follow us as we move on to experiment with traditional and contemporary mud building technics, the use of different pigments and local earth mixtures, creating large sculptors and small dishes.
Prof. Michael Raviv, senior researcher in organic agriculture,an expert for the subject of compost, will lecture about compost and compost process
Hadar Barkai –
Eco farmer and Cheese maker
Hadar is the owner of "yarok Az" ecological farm, and she will teach a class on making compost and vegetable beds, and a class on cheese making.
Would you like to make your own flowerbed and grow some vegetables in your yard? How about growing them in a pot on the porch? You can integrate your own kitchen waste into a prospering vegetable bed!

Learn about all that and more in a workshop that combines theoretical knowhow with practical experience, focusing on the basics of permaculture and bio-intensive methods.
