Insurance for host in Israel
- The insurance is valid for Israeli nationality and non Israeli nationality.
Insurance for host in WWOOF Independent list
- For non Israeli nationality The insurance is not valid.
- For Israeli nationality The insurance is valid.
OV Europa makes the world wide insurance as a bonus, only for Israelis to encourge local wwoofing,
to top up the insurance to cover hosts on the independent list go to http://www.oveuropa.com/israel/index.html.
You will still need travel insurance for the time you are not in the farm, so if you plan to stay for long in a farm, just
make the travel insurance for the days you are not in the farm.

WWOOF Israel Insurance policy is provided by OV Europa http://www.oveuropa.com
In general the policy includes :
- Damage or injury to third parties - up to 1.500.000.oo Euro.
- Accident resulting in
- Death - 25.000.oo Euro.
- Permanent invalidity - up to 1.500.000.oo Euro.
- Medical expenses - up to 2000.oo Euro.

The insurance cover for WWOOFers does not include any damage inflicted whilst using mechanised equipment,
with the exception of a strimmer (hand-held mechanical grass cutter) with string attachment (NOT with a blade).
With this exception, WWOOF Israel allows WWOOFers only to use non-mechanised tools.

WWOOFers need to inform about a volunteer period before arriving to a host in Israel, by filling a form in the member section
of WWOOF Israel website.
