Farm117
medicinal herb eco-farm specializes in aromatic desert herbs native to Israel. We have a nursery, fields, and we work with subcontracting growers from various regions of Israel.

In addition, we are developing a permaculture based eco-farm with the intent of complete sustenance from local and regional sources.

We have already built water recycling systems, solar cookers, rocket stoves, solar outdoor shower, composting toilets, vegetable/flower gardens, and the beginning of a food forest.

This shmitta year until Rosh Hashana we are focusing on indoor growing in our shadehouse and building the infrastructure for future growth of the farm.

Please note: We are located in the northwest Negev, close enough to the Meditteranean to be cooled by ocean breezes, but far enough away that the air is not humid.

Volunteers housing consists of a lovely, comfortable building with kitchen, dining, and socializing areas. The kitchen is kosher. Sleeping is in primitive but comfortable sheters or tents.
